One Hell of a Month

It’s been one hell of a month…..
One month ago I launched my site and I am extremely grateful for the support and positive feedback I’ve been receiving. On top of dealing with my normal life consisting of school and POTS, this month I have: had sinus surgery, had a 104 degree fever, got sepsis, spent almost a week in the hospital, had my port removed, got a picc line, and am still on IV antibiotics. Whewwww.

It’s been one hell of a month…..

Now I am in the recovery stage, physically and mentally. My body needs a break from the physical stress it’s been under the past month. I’m exhausted. Luckily I have a few days before Spring quarter starts. Mentally it’s time for me to cope. The entire time I was in the hospital I was strong because I knew I had to get through it and I had to be strong for everyone else worrying about me. I don’t think I realized the magnitude of the situation until after I was out of the hospital. Now that I’m slowly progressing towards normalcy, the weight of the events of the past month are hitting me. Recovery is a constant physical and mental battle but in the end I know everything will work out and be alright. Faith does not make things easy, it just makes them possible.
